Welcome friends. Welcome here. We’ve missed you. Our energies, however separated by space, are now together. Help me welcome music back in to our lives. Thank you, for being here. There is much to be done. Free. Given. Let us stand up for our selves, for the good, for the Music. In the beginning there was Music, vibrations, you know the whole science of music right? Right……. A lot has happened since then, we have raped pillaged and all but murdered music. Some may say it has been slain, but has risen again and again. One constant through out time, religion, war, education, agriculture, slavery, technology, there has been Music. Everlasting, unlike any of the earths scarce recources that govern the wars of so many people. How much did you charge your Mother on her birthday when you sang to her. How can you put a price on the untouchable, unthinkably gorgeous, the entirely free? The impeccable, the perfect, the One.The Three? We are graced, to be one of the MANY species on the earth capable of being musical. Thank Music, for all of her blessings, all of her heart. When was the last time you thanked your instrument? Your parents? Your friends? Have you ever played Music with birds? Have you heard the leaves applauding your effort with a gust of wind?
In conversation, there is ryhtym. The next time you talk to someone, try and speak with their ryhtym. Their diction. Especially fun with “crazy people”. People tend to open up to you when you use their style. It also can open things up in you, that you were not aware of yet. Notice their pitch, along with their dance, or “body language” if you want to call it that. I’m not saying copy them, I’m just saying be aware of the song they’re playing, and play with them. Find the changes, just like the first time you play a song with a buddy live. Where you get “It’s in G”
thrown at you behind the monitor buzz and bar patron chatter. You Listen, you wait, because lets face it, its always cooler to be the last one in. You here the song, the chord changes, the melody, the feel, the dynamics, the articulation of the other players, the whole. And as the song goes through the arrangement you finally notice the changes. The verses may be the same chords, even the same lyrics, but its happening in a different time and space, it is in itself, a change.
When your talking to your friends, the people you converse with regularly notice the ryhtym, the patterns, the changes. You are already a part of this world, from habbit, from adapting to the situation. Notice the dynamics as a conversation hits on Real topics. This is Music. This is an opportunity to be musical. To connect with people through the timeless expression. Open up a channel with someone, discover something, share energy, emotions, feels, dreams, fears. Help them, let them help you. When you wake up in the morning, and say to yourself, “I am going to have a good day!”. You have all the energy, power, being and love within you working for you to make this happen. When you wake up in the morning, and say, “The whole world is going to have a good day today”, you have all the energy, power, being and love of the WHOLE world working with you to make this happen. When you are in a room of people, using the same rythym in conversation, and playing together, harmoniously, you all have the energy of everyone in the room, and with that energy, there is good to be done. We all have different goods, some small, some huge, some sentimental, some passing, some missed. Music, is a way to communicate, to express, to feel, to sympathize, to help, to join, with others and make good somethings happen. When you are aware of the Music in the room, in the conversation, in the vibrations of someones energy, you can connect with people in a way that is everlasting. A universal, timeless connection.
Watch a kid dance. Hear them sing.
