Why not? Why cant we use the incredibly abundant resources available to find new ways of doing things. We are. What we’re doing isnt a revolution, please, PLEASE dont call it that. Its just the best idea we could come up with to do what we wanted. Music has and always will be life. In every way. We post videos, blogs, episodes, documentaries, clips, montages, pod casts, anything we can think of becuase we have found an exciting way to not only capture a moment, but participate in a real way. Well, that is what we aim to do.
But honestly, its just the best we can do at whatever we get our hands on. Using this technology is no different than playing Music to me. You do the best you can with what you’ve got. Hope for the best, and dream bigger. There has been tons of research into the correlation between Musical kids in school and test scores. Being a “Musical Person” doesn’t mean that you are a virtuoso prodigy at everything from French horn to mouth harp, it means so much more and so much less. It is the awareness of the Musical world around you, it is the luxury of letting yourself be a part of something bigger. Its breathing from your toes.
Wake up in the morning and stretch, stay up all night, and listen to Soul ‘69 – Aretha Franklin with the mussel shoals kids. Sleep well, and take an Advil in the morning, its going to be a creative day.
